ADAM B. STIRRUP


Adam B. Stirrup (Co-Counsel) obtained the Number 1 Professional Malpractice Verdict in the United States in 2021 in Merlo vs. American Ambulance.
Adam B. Stirrup was born and raised in Fresno, California. In 2003, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno. He then earned his Master of Arts degree in International Relations from California State University, Fresno in 2005. Mr. Stirrup earned his Juris Doctorate degree (with Distinction) from San Joaquin College of Law in 2008. While at San Joaquin College of Law, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review and was honored as the Best Oral Advocate and Best Brief Finalist in the George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition. Mr. Stirrup began his legal practice with McCormick Barstow in 2008 and joined Paboojian, Inc. in 2013.
Mr. Stirrup is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of California. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Fresno County Bar Association, the Kings County Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
Mr. Stirrup received an AV Preeminent rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. This is the highest possible rating an attorney can receive, which indicates the highest levels of professionalism and utmost ethical standards. In 2021, Mr. Stirrup was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer. Mr. Stirrup was designated as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers. The National Trial Lawyers also designated him as one of the Top 40 Lawyers under 40 years of age in the State of California. From 2012 to 2020, Mr. Stirrup was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Rising Stars list, a distinction only bestowed upon 2.5% of the attorneys in Northern California. He was also honored as a “40 Under 40″ by Business Street Online who recognizes the top young business professionals in the public and private sectors in Central California who are leaders in the community and have experienced great success before the age of 40.
Mr. Stirrup has been recognized with Mr. Baradat and Mr. Paboojian for obtaining one of the Top 10 Verdicts in California in the year 2021 for the case of Merlo vs. American Ambulance.
Mr. Stirrup has been recognized with Mr. Paboojian and Mr. Bell for obtaining one of the Top 50 Verdicts in California in the year 2018 for the case of Ortiz vs. Chipotle.
Mr. Stirrup has been recognized with Mr. Paboojian for obtaining one of the Top 100 Verdicts in California in the year 2015 for the case of Charles Liddell v. Cuesta Title Co.
Mr. Stirrup is currently the President of the Central Valley Trial Lawyers Association (the Central Valley’s official Chapter of the Consumer Attorneys of California), the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Fresno County Bar Association (President 2016-2017; President Elect 2015-2016; Vice President 2014-2015; Secretary 2013-2014), the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Kings County Bar Association (President 2015-2016; Vice President 2014-2015), the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Fresno State Alumni Association (President 2014-2016; President Elect 2012-2014; Vice President of Membership and Marketing 2011-2013), and a member of the Emeritus Group of the San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review. Mr. Stirrup is a former member of the Saint Agnes Men’s Club. Mr. Stirrup is also a Past President of the Board of Directors of the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association (President 2013; Treasurer 2011-2012). Mr. Stirrup is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the largest plaintiffs’ personal injury organization in the state of California, and currently serves on the Consumer Attorneys of California Board of Directors. Mr. Stirrup is also member of the National Trial Lawyers Association and the Central Valley Trial Lawyers Association.
